The next step in closing the loop
Myself and a few other folks have made a specific trip to Haiti to further some business development plans. It’s important to realize everything we do is for vulnerable kids. One way to truly empower the kids is to lose the loop on our “sustainable support circle”, that is, provide physical, emotional, spiritual, educational, and economic support.
The economic is the toughie; all funding is from the US. but THINK – if we could develop businesses ran by Haitians for Haitians and help them provide revenue streams that pay the over $1M it takes to support the kids and families wouldn’t that be super? We are on our way. This week a couple preliminary projects are moving from concept to formation. Pretty cool.
